Michigan probably has the best DL in the country, especially in the interior. : As good as Will Johnson is, OSU has the better secondary. I honestly don’t know enough about OSUs linebackers. Michigans starters are very good but I wouldn’t say it’s like a top five unit nationally. : Michigan will have a top ten defense. I think they take a small step back because they won’t have the depth they had a year ago—they played something like 8-9 DL 30 snaps a game last year which kept them fresh which was key for a 15 game season. : OSU seems like it has a really deep defense and having a coordinator in his third season is a big plus (Minter is a big loss). : I think if you were doing a defensive draft that UM would probably have 3 of the top 5 picks. Feels like OSU is deeper overall.
