Last shutout was Cincinnati all the way back in 2019.

There's probably only two opponents on the schedule that are likely shutout victims anyway, the two MAC schools to open the season. Iowa, even without Brian Ferentz, seems like a potential victim (although Ohio State couldn't shut them out WITH Ferentz). Maybe throw Indiana in there, too. But shutouts in B1G play don't happen that often; other than a few Rutgers shutouts, the last one was Wisconsin in the 2014 B1G Championship Game massacre.

OSU hasn't had 3 shutouts in the same season OR consecutive shutouts (which they'd have to get to shutout Akron and WMU) since 2009.

Three is a very tall order.
