Darker days for the Michigan fanbase than the Cooper years were for the OSU fanbase...

When Bo won the B1G title in 1969, it broke a string of four title-less years for the Wolverines. From then to 2004, Michigan rarely went more than one year without a B1G title. They had a four-year title-free streak 1993-1996, a three-year streak 1983-1985, and a two-year streak 2001-2002... and that's it. Otherwise they won a title at worst every other year, for 35 years. Why stop at 2004? Because that's Michigan's most recent title. Michigan entered 2021 on a sixteen-year string of no B1G titles.
