...how good Ohio State can be when trying it's 100% best to maximize its full potential.

This is what Meyer does. Raises standards. Makes people accountable. Plays to win...and does everything in his power to make it happen. Will scour the country looking for assistant coaches and assemble the best staff that he can. Goes through 300 'offers' to find the best 25 guys for signing day. Doesn't look to cut corners, but doesn't get in a comfort zone, either. Will rub some people the wrong way...but who cares if you're holding crystal.

There's absolutely, positively no reason why Ohio State football cannot dominate the college football nation. Ohio State is one of a very few select programs that has it all. BIG bucks. Loads of tradition. Strong recruiting grounds. All the support a program can ask for. No excuses. Ohio State should be hiring the best coaches. Recruiting the best players. Period. end of story. and now it's really happening.

In short...he's going to take Ohio State football to '11'. It's not going to suck.

: ...He is clearly living up to his promise to make OSU a dominant program nationally. I pray he is also living up to the promise he made to his family to be a better father and husband. I would hate to see anybody sacrifice their relationship with his/her family in favor of their job...even if it is head football coach at OSU.
: Hope I don't get run off of the board for this, although I expect to take some flak.
