The SEC is about the money and winning championships. The SEC knows who its bottom feeders and also-rans are and is willing to sacrifice them for the conference's greater good. It is apparent when watching a game involving Bama vs. any other mediocre SEC team, if the game is even remotely close, the yellow hankies come out in Bama's favor. The underdog has to play 2x or 3x better than Bama to pull off any upset because it is 11 on 19 plus a replay ref, who we know has more influence than is necessary.
