2019: West = blue, East = red...

1. Ohio State (105.93)
6. Wisconsin (92.73)
10. Penn State (90.95)
12. Michigan (89.70)
18. Iowa (84.47)
22. Minnesota (81.48)
32. Michigan State (77.21)
41. Indiana (75.42)
49. Nebraska (73.92)
62. Purdue (70.71)
74. Northwestern (67.49)
75. Illinois (67.35)
85. Maryland (64.26)
138(!). Rutgers (52.63)

The West is a small bit stronger at the very bottom, as the two worst teams are in the East, and one of those two is far worse than any West team.

However, after those two, the next four worst teams are all in the West -- and that's more than half of that division. And at the top the East has three of the top four.

I think the difference was more striking in prior years than it was last year. Michigan State fell off, and Minnesota had a good season. 2018:

3. Ohio State
6. Michigan
8. Iowa
10. Penn State
24. Wisconsin
33. Michigan State
35. Northwestern
42. Purdue
46. Minnesota
53. Maryland
55. Nebraska
61. Indiana
109. Illinois
117. Rutgers
