Not sure how you've judged Fields' 51 TDs and Burrow's 23 as "comparable".

Meyer would have deployed Burrow as JTB V if he had the chance. No way to know how successful that would have been, but I doubt it makes any ultimate difference in the way 2018 turned out. Worse, if anything, just because Haskins set the bar so high. Fields probably never comes to OSU if Burrow is still the starter in 2019, which opens a whole new alternate history to explore.

: Fields 2019, 14 games, 3300 yds, 41 TD, 484 rush yards/10 TD

: Haskins had a superb, spectacular season at Ohio State in 2018. However, the people who say Burrow could not have done better are just as wrong or right as the people who say he could have. We'll never know.
