I really like Beau Bishop’s method to fix CFB/BB. He says the Power 5 schools should (m)

all separate their football & basketball programs from the athletic departments and operate them as businesses outside of the universities. Once separated from both the NCAA & the schools, they can pay players, market their brands, & monetize in any way they see fit.

I know some here have had issues with him but I think Beau is pretty thoughtful guy. This feels like where we are probably headed.
